Fantastic Air Purifier That Does A Lot
I got this for my wife and Iâs bedroom and was interested in it being able to also heat and oscillate. I donât like IoT devices but I was able to connect it with the app then put it into a IoT VLAN with no internet and still functions just fine and same with the remote. Others have complained of smell but I just smell normal slight air puffier smells that went away after a day and does not bother me. It purifies effect and monitors the air for containments which has helped my allergies a lot as well as helping keep dust down. The sleep mode works perfect and I have mine setup to auto run on a schedule for when I go to sleep and turn off when I wake to auto mode. I feel like the value is perfectly priced for what it offers and would recommend this for anyone looking for the specific functions this purifier provides.

Works great!
I have another brand in my living room and the BLUEAIR in my bedroom. My living room and kitchen are an open room. I burnt something on the stove the other day and the BLUEAIR in my bedroom turned to red and went to high before the other brand in the living room. It is so much quieter than the other one.

3-1 convenient and silent filter/heater
Overall, I really like this productPros:- 3-1 function. Neat and convenient- very quiet- nice looking- app controlling.Cons:- started making small noise at a particular location when it turns. Couldnât figured out what cause it.- canât turn on/off heater remotely.- once switch mode and back it removes the auto fan settings. It should keep the settings. But I will keep it.

Definitely noticed a difference in my allergies shortly after starting to run it!
Quick-ish back story: I’ve always suffered seasonal allergies and been mildly allergic to dogs and cats. Three years ago we bought our first home and while it is in an inner-ring suburb, our home is atop a hill and surrounded by just enough nature to hide the fact that you are actually close to downtown. The previous owner had dogs, though the house didn’t smell doggy nor was covered in hair, but none the less. I shampooed all the rugs when the house was empty and was pretty fine allergy-wise when we moved in. However, all the allergens in the air from nature really messed me up when we’d open the windows up, this past year in particular. I was so miserable and had FDR eyes (dark circles under my eyes) along with lots of eye boogers I’d never had. So I started vacuuming more and got a little air filter for the bedroom. Then this fall my wife started talking about getting a dog again and I’d been so miserable with allergies from the summer and fall I figured “How could hell be any worse?” and we got a beautiful Bordoodle in November. In preparation for the pup’s arrival I decided to invest in a real deal air purifier. This arrived about 3 weeks before the puppy did and in that time I noticed a marked improvement in how I was feeling and my eyes and nose cleared up quite a bit. With that said: I love this thing! While I was worried about dropping so much coin for the actual machine and then the continued cost of new filters (which are about $100!) I was really hoping it would help me, and it did! Unfortunately when the machine arrived the expensive filter was all messed up! I contacted Amazon and they gave me credit to buy a new one. Just for the heck of it, I ran the machine with the less than optimal, damaged filter those first few weeks. So this thing performed in less than perfect conditions and STILL made a difference!Once our pup came home I put in the new filter and things got even better! While I am not “cured” I sure feel a lot better, better than I did BEFORE we got the machine OR a dog that I was slightly allergic to (after the first few weeks, I got used to our dog’s brand of proteins that trigger my allergies and am fine around her now)I highly encourage the use of the washable pre-filters. The machine looks way nicer without them (in my wife’s opinion) but they catch SO MUCH big dust that I can only imagine it keeps your super expensive filter running optimally for as long as designed. We usually change out the pre-filter every 2 weeks and are offended by how much dust it catches, but also glad it is going there as opposed to our furniture and noses.Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and feel the money was wisely spent as I feel much better since introducing this machine into my already pretty clean home.

Outstanding air quality
Completely reversed my wife’s breathing difficulties (persistent throat tickle, cough, etc.) that we suspect was due to dust, rug fibers, dog dander, etc. We setup the unit in our living room which is a single, 600sqft room with 12ft ceilings. I ran it on high for the first few hours (we were out to dinner so the fan noise didn’t matter) and then dropped it down to low when we got back. We noticed the difference after running the unit for just 2 hours. I kick it up to high when we’re cleaning and vacuuming – activities which would naturally kick up dust and during which we don’t care about the noise (which is significant on high). On the other hand, the noise level on low is OK: noticeable in a perfectly quiet room … but we never have a perfectly quiet room. We can’t hear it when talking normally and it’s definitely not noticeable with the TV or music on. The filtered air coming out of the unit actually smells sweet. Incredible. We’ve been running the unit for 2 weeks now with game-changing results (including a reduction in visible dust on bookshelves too). I’ve had some experience with other air purifiers in the past including fan-less (electrostatic) units, and I can attest this one is the best: the Blue Pure 121 delivers. I’m about to buy the smaller unit (Blue Pure 411) for our bedroom.

I’ve had this product for about two weeks and it works very well at capturing a good amount of the hair shed by the perp. pictured above. I got a size larger than is recommended for my small apartment but the cat hair was driving me crazy so I thought I’d try it. I covered it with the grey cover and sure enough as it sucked in the air to clean it, it sucked in cat hair as well which stuck to the grey cover. Attached is what it looked like after returning from a long weekend. I then wipe it off with a damp cloth or, better still, run a lint roller over it so it can start again. I have no idea if it does the other stuff, like cleaning chemicals etc out of the air, and It certainly doesn’t get rid of all the cat hair but it helps significantly. When it is on low, which I use during the day, you can’t hear it at all. When it is on high, it sounds like your oven fan when it’s on low. I’m glad I bought it.

This was a gift to me paid for by my mother.Pros:-Works well to reduce cooking smells in my small apartment. I have to leave it on for an hour or so after I finish cooking but I don’t mind doing that.-Reasonably quiet. Settings one and two are quiet enough for me to tine out while setting three is quite loud but I use it while cooking and so the noise doesn’t really bother meCons:-Bulky and difficult to move around. I don’t use this air purifier all the time and I keep it in a spare bedroom when not using it. It’s difficult to grip anywhere and even when the top part is “locked” it can still topple off quite easily.-Replacement filters are very expensiveI would never have bought this for myself because in my opinion it’s too expensive for what it does, but it works well for what I use it for and I was happy to receive it as a gift.

I had my doubts if this would have strong results. I know there are more expensive filters out there and I need it for a 650 square foot space which is at the space max. I decided to buy an air quality monitor together with this purifier to make sure that is really works. And holy moly! First, you can really feel the difference but that being said, what if it was just our minds playing tricks on us. But the AQ monitor doesn’t lie. The air coming out of the machine has a 0 particle measurement. Even the far corners of the room have a 4 or 8 measurement. To keep it in perspective, anything under 50 is good and outside in Toronto it was 65. And although the purifier is big, it is pretty stylish so it looks great. Quiet too. I did a lot of research and this model is much quieter than comparables. I should have bought this a long long time ago. Go for it.

While the product is an excellent purchase, I have had difficulties obtaining two items (cloth filters) which were not found in the box.I am somewhat disappointed with the outcome.John.

This purchase is the best this year. You don’t know realize the benefit of this machine until you have used it for a couple of days.
