Works as advertised
Desktop docking station works as expected. Powers my Dell Latitude with USB-C plug and accepts my display without issue. So, all is fine.

Didnât work
The dock had power but it there was no connectivity to my laptop. I had a professional look at it and it didnât work. Had to sent it back.I tried ordering 3 different Dell docks on Amazon. Looking at the Dell chart for compatibility they should have all worked. Sent all three back. I finally ordered one directly from Dell and that one finally worked. It was one of the most frustrating experiences ever. The returns were supposed to be credited back to my credit card also but no, some went back to gift card balance with Amazon. So my credit card bill was crazy high from having to order 3 different Dell docks and then wait for the credit back to my card (or NOT!) My brother read that some docks had bad cords on them, to change the electrically cord. You canât!! I think some sellers were trying to sell bad docks on Amazon.

One Cable Needed
I purchased this docking station so that I could reduce the number of cables attached to my laptop. It had the bonus of being able to charge the laptop’s battery as well. It was easy and straight forward to install and hookup. All my external devices worked perfectly and all the messy cables are neatly managed and out of the way. The unit is a bit pricey, but it is doing the job well so I can’t complain too much. I would recommend this unit if you would like to streamline the cables going to your lap top.

Great item. Poor packaging.
The Docking Station arrived in a box that was split open and torn. The shipping box was too light weight. It’s surprising this was accepted by the shipper. Luckily the Docking Station appears to be working fine. The features are as described.

I have two dell laptop computers Dell Latitude 5510 and E4310and my Work computer is an HP ProBook 650 G8.This docking station works with all three Laptops. The Refurbished ones look new. I bought two of these stationsI work from home and go to the office once a month and I didn’twant to disconnect the Thunderbolt dock. These docking stationsare well worth the money. I think they will connect to almost any laptopthat has a standard usb 2.0 or 3.0 connection…I am able to use three monitorswith this docking station

It is connected to a Dell Latitude or a Dell Inspironâoutput to a Dell monitor using a DisplayPort cable and a Lenovo monitor (D24-40) using a HDMI cable. I would recommend this to family and friends.

We have about 20 of these in multiple small offices. One cable into the laptop for power, displays, USB and Ethernet. Simple for users. We use these docks with Lenovo, Dell and HP laptops with USB compatibility. Using the OEM DisplayLink drivers. None have failed in over a year of use. Only possible issue is the dock has 3 normal USB jacks so some users need a small USB hub for extra devices.
