   Works great
   I’ve been using the Logitech Brio 101 for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my setup. Here are my thoughts:Pros:Video Quality: The Full HD 1080p resolution is impressive. My video calls look clear and professional, which is great for both meetings and streaming.Auto-Light Balance: This feature is a lifesaver. It automatically adjusts the lighting, so I always look well-lit, even in dim or overly bright environments.Built-In Microphone: The built-in mic captures my voice clearly, which means I don’t need an external microphone for most calls. It’s convenient and keeps my desk less cluttered.Privacy Shutter: I really appreciate the integrated privacy shutter. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can easily cover the camera when I’m not using it.Easy Setup: It’s truly plug-and-play.    Works well with new M4 MacMini
   I just replaced my 5 year old iMac with a a new M4 MacMini, and thus required a camera for occasional video meetings. I searched and read many reviews, and finally, kind of stumbled across the Brio 101. The price point was quite reasonable, and as I didn’t need loads of bells and whistles gave it a chance. I plugged it in and gave my son a FaceTime call. It worked well and he (who can be picky about video and audio quality) said it seemed good from his end. So thumbs up for good quality, easy use, and great price.

   Picture quality is great, needs a zoom
   Overall it’s very good value but I didn’t check and realized too late that there’s no zoom in/out so you may need to ensure your desk chair is on wheels. But other than that, excellent little camera that worked perfectly out of the box!

It’s a great choice for anyone needing a Full HD webcam for work, study or casual use. I highly recommend it!

   Excellent 1920×1080 webcam at entry-level price point, detailed notes…
   I would definitely recommend this webcam as an excellent 1920×1080 webcam at entry-level price point. I upgraded from a 720 resolution webcam and the image is significantly clearer. As with any webcam, make the room as bright as possible, although this one does a decent job in low light. Also like that this webcam has a narrower viewpoint than other webcams. I have a home office and want my image to take up most of the frame rather than showing the clutter around me in the office.Any external webcam is going to do a much better job than the webcam built into your laptop and it’s not just about resolution it’s about how it handles the shadows and bright spots. Also, the built-in mic is much better than my laptop’s mic. Also, you can position an external webcam anywhere you want to. Nothing worse than using a laptop webcam and having to look down onto the camera. By having it on top of the monitor, the image is much more professional looking. I’m perfectly happy with this webcam but if I wanted better quality, I would get an actual photography camera that’s designed to use as a webcam because I don’t think you’d see a difference by just spending more on a webcam.Regarding the privacy slide on any webcam, yes it does work but the issue is that when you slide it, the camera might slide sideways Just use a small piece of cloth or paper and hinge it with a piece of tape and flip it out of the way when you want to use or not use it.I do give it five stars but did want to mention one criticism. I wish this webcam had a tripod thread and also a ball socket to adjust the camera to any position. This one only lets you adjust it up/down and not left to right and also a bit annoyed that the camera blocks the top row of my screen when using the built in kickstand. Both of these problems easily solved by folding up the kickstand and using velcro to attach the bottom of the kickstand to the top of the monitor.

   Good basic webcam
   This is a solid webcam, the setup was instant and it mounts easily to any monitor. The quality is good in HD so if you just need a basic webcam this is great for the price.

   mixed results
   If you are looking at this camera to use for basic Zoom calls or other web meetings it’s a perfectly good camera, not super HD but good clear picture, nice and bright, and very easy to install and set up. Unfortunately, I needed it for online exam proctoring for a class and the 1 thing it can’t do is refocus on close up, small detail. After 20 minutes of fiddling around with it and poking at every setting I could think of, I still couldn’t get it to focus on my ID for identity verification and had to finally give up and pull out my old laptop that could handle refocusing. I will be keeping it, because it works, it just doesn’t work as well as I needed.

    I’m using it as my microphone for Discord voice calls mainly and it does this just fine. My monitor isn’t exactly flat and it still holds great on it. Love that a small LED lights up when the camera’s in use and that there’s a slider to hide it in case you’re ever afraid of being spied on. Was very easy to get working on Windows out-of-the-box.

    Bought the Logitech Brio 101 for a better experience with my three-screen setup, and it’s perfect! No more relying on the laptop camera. I love how it allows me to focus on my main screen. The default settings work great for me, so no need for adjustments. Personnally, I disabled the built-in mic to use my microphone. Highly recommend for anyone with a similar setup!Additionnally, It’s worth noting that the 1080p resolution is just alright. It provides decent quality for meetings and streaming, which works fine for everyday use. However, if you’re looking for that high-end, professional YouTube video quality, this might not hit the mark. It’s more suited for standard video calls rather than for content creators seeking exceptional video clarity.
