Great mouse if you like trackball
Great mouse if you like a trackball. This was my first time trying a trackball mouse, and while the first day of use I had to use more brain maneuvering my curser on the screen, it grew on me. Trackball was sensitive, but trackball sensitivity and buttons can be adjusted if Logi+ is downloaded on your computer/laptop. Buttons are clicky and have a nice rebound or response, and you will hear clicking. But it was overly loud. More like if you like the click sound it will be satisfying, but if not itâs about as loud as a standard mouse. Normally I wouldnât spend so much on a mouse but after recent wrist pains while working figured it was time to be ergonomic minded. So good value, easy to set up – just hold down Bluetooth button and laptop quickly found the device, it is heavier than other mice but you arenât moving it.I did decide to return the mouse, but itâs not because itâs a bad mouse. I purchased the Logitech Lift at the same time so I could see which, if any, would help with my wrist pain. The Lift is a vertical mouse and helped more with the pain. I did seriously contemplate keeping both mice so I could have the flexibility and ability to use both – keep things fresh with my wrist. But after a couple weeks I tended to use the vertical mouse more and didnât want to watch a $40 mouse just sit on my desk. My husband who has bigger hands than me and is a gamer preferred the trackball mouse over the Lift, so maybe if youâre a gamer this mouse is for you. I do plan on buying again in the future, but right now I did not need this mouse. I also preferred the responsive feel of the buttons over the Lift/vertical mouse.

Great mouse (with a minor adjustment)
For background: I’m a software developer at a PC for 8 hours a day. I started having carpal tunnel wrist pains with normal mice, so I churned through a handful of cheap vertical mice over the past 8 years. I honestly didn’t have any issues with vertical mice – my last one was just on the verge of death, so I decided to branch out to the world of trackball mice. After tons of research, I settled on this one. The results?…I love this mouse! I don’t have any frame of reference, but the ball is plenty smooth for me. All the buttons are nicely positioned, and the mouse body fits nicely to my hand, which I’d say is average size. One worry I had before buying was the adjustment period, but for me this was surprisingly short. The first few days were fine – just some issues with accuracy. But I’d say within the first week I was using this mouse as a second nature. I’m even been using this as my preferred mouse for some video games like Baldur’s Gate 3 & Pillars of Eternity (although I personally can’t imagine trying to use it for something like an FPS).Another worry I had before buying was the risk of RSI from the thumb movement, as there’s lots of concerns online about this for thumb-oriented trackball mice. But after using this quite regularly for a few weeks, I’ve had zero thumb pain, outside of some soreness the first couple of days. Of course, I can’t guarantee your experience will be the same, but this is a pretty low bar for entry. Just listen to your body as you go!My biggest complaint: the tilt angle. It’s too flat for me on the table, causing my wrist to rotate too much. I wanted more of that vertical mouse feel. Thankfully, this was easily remedied by 3D printing a tilted base for the mouse from a free model on Thingaverse. The only other inconvenience so far has been that the ball will start to lose its smoothness after a couple days of consistent use, but this is easily remedied in 10 seconds by popping the ball out and cleaning off the contacts. However, these minor issues are far outweighed by the pros & low price. So as far as I’m concerned, 10/10!

Switched to a trackball never looking back
I bought this mouse to officially switch to trackball mice as they are more ergonomic. I sit at my computer a lot and needed something compact. Trackball mice do not move. Only the ball moves. It saves space, has a cool design, excellent battery life, and multi function with the USB dongle or the Bluetooth capability. The build is solid and heavy. It is midrange for price as it is not the most or least expensive. Compared to Nulea it is more compact. The buttons are nice but there is no DPI button. The sensitivity and button mapping is controlled via a computer program you have to install. Overall given the brand and support I am happy I bought it. I use it for general browsing, gaming like Warcraft, and drawing in Photoshop. No problems whatsoever.Thank you

It works perfectly fine. Not very practical for big hands. It works better on the palm with people that have small hands.

I was always reluctant to buy this trackball mouse in the past but I’m so glad I did now. Now I can’t really live without it. It’s comfortable, easy to use, and I don’t get the nagging RSI pain and discomfort I used to get when using my old Logitech MX2 mouse. The only con I have is that I have really large hands because I’m tall. This mouse could be longer and bigger to better fit my hands. The buttons and mouse wheel could be pushed more forward to fit my longer and larger hand. But it doesn’t make it grossly uncomfortable for me to use. I’ve adjusted and prefer it to the conventional mouse. You can’t go wrong using this mouse for most work including CAD work because it does get smoother and better with repeated use. This is what I found after using it for a couple of weeks. It’s now super smooth and very precise. This was also mentioned in the FYI on the Logitech website from their engineers that the trackball will get smoother with continued use in a short period of ‘break-in’ use.The trackball also pops out for easy cleaning to maintain its tracking performance.Overall, I give the trackball a 9/10 because it could be a bit bigger and longer to fit my large hands. If they made a bigger size, I’d buy the bigger size in an instant. Otherwise, I’d recommend it as a definite buy and a great companion to my Logitech G213 Prodigy Gaming Keyboard. Eliminate RSI issues by using this mouse.
