    Buy it, it works!
Bought this, and a third node from the Amazon Warehouse. Up and running without difficulty, full internet speed via wifi everywhere. Wasted two evenings helping a friend attempt to set up an Orbi mesh – no love. Had him buy three Tenda nodes (cheaper than I paid), he had his up and running in a half hour. Done and done. Don’t hesitate, just buy it and wifi on. Be sure to use the browser interface to optimize mesh performance, it’s worth the effort.

    Bang for buck
Super long range, super fast speed easy set up and waaaaay cheaper than competitive units, now I have WiFi 50′ outside my house to shop and other side of house to outdoor wifi camera at gateand every inch of my house other units couldn’t do thatGreatLong range and fast for inexpensive system competes with units costing 3x more

Great Performance and Quality, but questions remain.
The Tenda AX 3000 MX12 set up quickly and immediately delivered better performance than our six year old Lynxsys mesh. However, questions remain. The first. is that I’m unable to change. the name of the network away from Nova.. The second is that even though it accepted my new password, only the original password will allow entry. The third and the most curious is that WIN 11 system is showing the MX12 as WiFi 5 not WiFI 6. Perhaps the manufacturer could explain both of those. Nevertheless, I would. highly recommend this system because from the packaging through the build. and the performance you’re getting more than your money’s worth. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters.

fixed wifi issues in old house with plaster walls
Setup took 20 minutes. We had issues getting a stable high quality signal to a bedroom TV about 90ft away and through 3 walls and a ceiling, plaster on wood lathe in a house built circa 1905. We tried extenders but that didn’t do it reliably. The two MX12s kinda blew us away, we went from getting 8mbps down in the bedroom to 160mbps down in the bedroom on a fiber 300/300 connection. The node we placed upstairs is still a wall and 15ft from the TV in my office and my desktop is hardwired to it with literally zero loss in speed even though it’s setup through a WiFi backhaul – no Ethernet between the nodes. I legitimately don’t understand how that’s possible but it is.

    Horrible Junk
After wrestling with the installation for over 4 hours, I quit.Nothing about this router works. The app stinks, the web gui doesn’t save settings. The secondary node would not connect. How long has Trenda been making routers? It’s going back to the junk yard it came from.

    Perfectly does the job
Easy to setup and coverage is amazing

  8. Amazon Customer

bought a pack of two – one does not connect to the other
supposed to be simple set up which it was initially – the first mesh node gets connected to ethernet and you follow the simple instructions no problems. the second node is supposed to connect automatically just by powering it on, it powers on but green light flashes it wont connect to the main node. technical support offered little help other than a factory reset which does not work. i go online searching and find this is common the second node not connecting, the main node actually works well and boosts the wifi well but really needed the 2nd node for the back of the house now i only hane one 🙁 wouldnt but again

After about 3 years trying a lot of kind of router, repeater and every kind of setup, this product finnaly resolved my wifi problems in the basement. I use it in AP mode for the main and as agent for the basement. I reach the full speed of my provider in the basement. I am on 120 mps plan and I reanch 135mps in the basement. Very easy to setup, everythings work just fine !!!

I work from home and my office is in the walk-in basement w/weak internet reception. (My modem is on the 3rd floor, I have a 2100 sq-ft home) I bought this Tenda AX3000 Mesh WiFi 6 Nova MX12 and it worked like a charm. I used to get 50mbps download speed, but after installing this Mesh, I now get double the speed! I’m not a fan of installing their Tenda app but it helps to keep track of my 2 towers. Decent purchase.

I got the two towers, so basically I have rogers tower in the corner of the main floor (front) which is close to the worst place except for the basement corner. Ideally you want top floor middle. Anyways, have a tele more centred on main floor, so I put one tower there plugged in from ethernet of Rogers box, then I put one close to back on the top floor. So unfortunately, it’s it’s own new SID, but mesh is suppose to be harder to hack so, and now I have 4 or 5 bars everywhere compared to 1-4 of rogers Tower. Fairly Simple to setup, though if you don’t have or want to run ethernet cable from rogers box then get 3 towers. or you can lay flat ethernet white cable on top of baseboard glue with something like instaglue and run it in some central cabinet so you only need 2 towers. It’s way better then repeating the signal with wireless router. Feels like mesh, performs like mesh, good mesh for only two towers. Under 150 for two towers on Black Friday, good purchase.
