good study cable, speedy transfers
I use this cable to transfer very large files (300-500+page documents per file with graphics, photos and movies) to and from my Macbook Air to an external hard drive, as well as to backup my computer onto an additional external hard drive. I am little paranoid as I have lost files before, so I always make extra backups. This cable does it very quickly! It is fast! I am extremely happy with this cable as it is very sturdy and does not tangle. All my files are transferred (depending on the size) on average, in about 5-10 seconds at most. Thunderbolt is the way to go.

Just as title says. Best bang for buck if you need a cheap high-quality (long) cable. Most thunderbolt cables that come with devices are usually very short and this is the best replacement as of writing this review. Would buy again!

I bought the V5 cables to replace my V3 cables. They seem to go slightly faster then the older v3 cables that came with the SSD drive. They are well made and clean cables. I regret buying a meter cable. half meter makes more sense.

Cool almost endgame cable.. but could be just a little better.
It’s a nice cable and does what is advertised. I just wish it was a bit more aaesthetically appealing which the new braided version solves. But my biggest problem with this product is the fact that it won’t enter my iPhone 16 Pro Max’s port because the connector plastic is wider than the Magsafe Apple case USB-C port hole. Really sucksss… I wanted to have an endgame cable, a cable that would support all my devices that would work with anything and would always support the fastest charging speeds, data transfer speeds and would support the full displayport range —-> so thunderbolt 5. I wanted to buy even more of these and replace al my cable with certified thunderbolt 5 cables so that I would never be using the wrong cable anymore. Sadly my plan was ruined by this small inconvinience. I’m not sure of buying the braided version now fearing it will have the same problem. I hope the make a cable that fixes this in the future.

When I saw this product I wondered what is out there that uses Thunder bolt 5 cables? Well no sooner did I ask that question then Apple introduced their new Mac Mini computer. It has three usb c ports that can manage Thunderbolt 5 and other lower versions. I was impressed at how fast those cables were especially with any good quality SSD drive. The Samsung T9 and the Extreme SSD from Sandisk. The only thing we need now are cheaper large capacity SSD drives.

These came out before any TB 5 hubs were made. Now with apple using it on their new M4 series products you can test to see these are infact TB5 and are as advertised. These are also the same price as TB4 so there is no reason to purchaseTB4 due to the major major improvements of TB5.

I used this on a egpu th4 and it gives quite a solid performance, idk, maybe 50-60% of 4070super but that’s to expect, maybe there is something better, idk, but for me it definetly did the job.Cable is also of good build quality.
