Functional, sturdy stand
I was tired of elevating our 13″ Lenovo laptop on a small cardboard box or book. I researched several options, read reviews and settled on the JOYEKY foldable, tiltable, portable, adjustable stand with a 360-degree rotation. The features I was most interested in were the non-slip stand, and ability to adjust the height. I need to rest my hands on the laptop for good control; this stand keeps my hands and wrists comfortable and stress-free and lives up to the ‘ergonomic laptop riser’ feature. I chose the rose gold color which is professional and classy. The stand is made of aluminum alloy and fits all 10-17″ laptops. The stand also helps to keep the laptop cool since it’s not resting on the table. A wrench for adjusting the stand comes with it which we did not need since the fittings are very tight and needed no further adjustments. To demonstrate the strength, the product video showed a number of notebooks stacked on top of one another. While that is something I would not have occasion to do, it was helpful to know how much weight the stand can handle. I do not use an external keyboard or stand when typing; the stand helps keep my neck and spine aligned. There are several strips to keep the device stationary: a strip on each corner to prevent slipping on the table; three strips on the top and sides and two small strips which anchor the laptop in place. There is no way the laptop will move or shift. The 360-degree swivel feature is a benefit for sharing the screen with those nearby even when the laptop is not elevated..I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend the Joyeky stand.

After purchasing a different laptop stand….
After purchasing a different laptop stand, I have come to appreciate this one even more. I’ve had this one for a while and just had the urge to upgrade even though it has treated me very well (humanity’s fatal flaw). The stand I purchased to replace this one had an innovative feature where the rotating base was underneath the foundation rather than the top, which gave a sleek flat look that I was attracted to. I figured I could use the flat base as a shelf for my drawing tablet if I ever chose to use it again, or to write on a notebook or something while having my laptop suspended in the air. What I concluded in this endeavor was that the rotating part being beneath the base led certain elevated angles to be less sturdy than this same stand at those angles. Additionally, the clicking sound of the new stand got agitating very fast and since it clicks to different angles at regular intervals rather than smoothly rotating, you have less control over how far it moves. If you leave it at a spot between two intervals it will click to the nearest one at the slightest touch. It is generally a lot more sensitive to touch and rotates easily just from the weight of my laptop charger, which pulls on it since it hangs over the side of my desk. The new stand also rotates the entire rectangular base around a center point, which is not great if you have limited space. OG square base stays put while the top part rotates, so it doesn’t extend out of it’s allotted space. The rotating base can also be adjusted with another bolt just in case it moves too easily, while the replacement doesn’t have that option.TLDR; realized the many advantages of this base (stability, space saving, bolts to adjust every joint including the sensitivity of the rotating part) after trying out a different one and now I’m loyal. The only thing I will change at this point is the color, but this is the perfect model for my needs.

THIS IS THE ONE!!!! Perfect!
I have an Alienware laptop that gets very hot so I needed a stand. I was worried about it not being sturdy enough since my laptop is very large and heavy. This stand is perfect! It holds my laptop with no issues. The angle adjustments are easy and great. Iâve been using it everyday for about two months now and I love it. I do fold it up and travel with it in my backpack. It folds up nicely, not perfectly but enough. It is a bit heavy so itâs not the most portable but itâs the most sturdy and worth your money.

Perfect for lifting your smaller laptopâNo more overheating!
I use this laptop stand mostly on my bed, where I do much of my writing and work. It’s great! It’s sturdy, adjustable and swivels. It has some weight to it, but that is what I would expect with a sturdy, metal stand. It is also compact, however, and folds down to almost the size of a sheet of paper. I bring it with me when I travel. It is especially useful for video/Zoom calls as it can adjust the height of the laptop, and makes the keyboard so much more ergonomic. The rubber grips hold the laptop in place. My computer is a 13″ MacBook Air, and I don’t know how well it would do with computers that are a lot larger, but it could definitely hold something even bigger than mine. I love it and HIGHLY recommend!

It’s Great!
When I first got it I thought I would send it back. I decided that I had to give it a fair try. I love it! I can adjust the height, it is easy to move around. I can push it back on the table and use my full size keyboard. I am so glad that I gave it a try, don’t know what I would do without it. Great value, good quality, does exactly what it is supposed to do.

The product (height-adjustable, tiltable laptop swivel-stand) arrived, promptly and undamaged.I ripped open the package, removed the old metal cookie tin from under my laptop, extended the new stand and slapped the laptop on it. Ta-dah!I like it.It’s hefty (won’t tip, stays where it’s put). The swivel action is smooth. The height extension and tilt are simple and smooth, with enough friction to sit at the angles you pull/push it to. When the bolts at the joints get looser some day, they are standard-size nut-and-bolt, easy to access if they ever need tightening. All the parts (whether stamped or cast) seem well made and well finished. The base pad has crescent non-slip feet at the corners. The lift/tilt pad, where the laptop goes, has non-slip strips on the flat part (under the laptop bottom) and non-slip pads on the stops that retain the front edge of the laptop… from sliding, when you have it tilted toward your lap and the family jewels… just sayin’…For some scale, see my photo of my little desk.My laptop is a DELL EPS 17, so that screen is 17-inches diagonally. The pink thing is a stylus; the laptop screen is a touch-screen that I don’t want covered with finger-prints.The laptop stand being reviewed is holding up that laptop. (Yay!)The red thing behind the laptop is the old cookie tin, which is now a platform for that white lamp you see with its nose poking between displays. I use it on lowest setting at night, as bit of ambient lighting, so the screens won’t feel as harsh against a blackened room. The main keyboard on the sliding tray of the desk, along with the mouse, are for that Windows laptop. The monitor to the right is 28 inches diagonally… it’s sitting on an ancient stand from my employer office… we all have sit-stand desks and dual monitors on swing arms, these days, so many of us found use for the obsolete stuff at home. The keyboard under the bigger monitor is for the other laptop that you see closed, below the ancient stand – that’s an 11-year old superseded laptop (again from the employer office… they charged me 200 bucks to take it home 6 years ago) which is my Linux laptop — currently Linux Mint. Beside the keyboard is the mouse for the Linux machine.Beside that, on the far right, is my Kobo Forma eReader that I bought for about 40% off as refurbished. The white thing standing up in the middle of the desk is a Zojirushi vacuum flask. The flip-top clasp broke after the first year, but the bottle itself remains one of the best at temperature preserving that I’ve ever, ever encountered. So, as an aside to this review, I would recommend any Zojirushi vacuum bottle that doesn’t have a flip-top. My wife figured out a home-made catch using stiff wire, and I re-engineered slightly and it’s kept the bottle usable for more than 6 years, so far. If only Zojirushi hadn’t cheaped-out and used the same flip-lid technology that similarly failed for Davids Tea and other companies, this Zojirushi bottle would be perfect.Anyway, back to topic, I can’t remember the maker of my laptop stand – Amazon will remember for me, but I highly recommend this specific model, ‘cuz it was reasonably priced and it does what it says it will and DOES IT WELL. Good design and good manufacture. You won’t regret the purchase.PS: If anyone is worried about the black-and-white “cow” wing chair peeking from the background, that’s cow-print textile – no cows were harmed in the making, ok?PPS: Would anybody be this wordy and scattered in a fake review? Didn’t think so.I’m still Kevin, and I still live in Ottawa, Canada. Enjoy your laptop stand.UPDATE: Got it in August of 2024 and it’s now end of October 2024 and I’m still happy enough with this purchase that I’m gonna buy it again — another one of the same model for holding my employer laptop that I use on a treadmill desk, just down the hall from my ‘personal’ desk, shown in the photo.

Adorei.
