I like to have multiple power adapter/chargers to be stationed at the locations where I typically work with my laptop. This avoids having to move the charger every time I want to pick up and go. This is my 4th Lenovo charger/power supply.It works just like the OEM supply and it both powers the laptop and charges the battery, unlike some aftermarket D*** brand replacement chargers that will only power the computer but will not charge the battery at all. The output rating is 20v @11.5A. There is no indicator LED on the power adapter, and before plugging it into the computer I tried to measure the output voltage as a precaution, but without being connected it had no output voltage. So there is apparently some circuitry in either the laptop or power supply or both that detects connection before turning on the output voltage (or I was missing one of the contacts). Thankfully Lenovo isn’t forcing the use of OEM power adapters as does D***.Another reviewer indicated a problem with weak retention of the AC power cord, but I have absolutely no issue with this and it feels perfectly normal. This uses a standard IEC320-C13 power cord (which is also available in a locking type) so I suppose it is possible that their cord had a problem.The power supply has a large number of safety and other approval markings most of which I no longer recognize except for the CE and GS. I try to avoid using electrical products that have no recognizable approvals and the no-names (which often have a slew of fake markings) are surprisingly easy to get stuck with if you don’t look at the pictures before you buy.This seems like a good replacement power supply for the price, but only time will tell how it holds up compared to the more expensive Lenovo version. I am pretty happy with this particular charger.

It works, but has a minor flaw with the power cable plugging into the brick
This power brick looks EXACTLY like the one that came with my Lenovo Legion 7i Gen 9 with the Intel i9-14900HX, 32GB DDR5, and the RTX 4070 GPU. It works flawlessly as well and the Laptop doesn’t identify it as a Generic charger or anything else. It charges my laptop perfectly while used and while powered off with no issues. The power cables (both sides) look identical to the OEM brick and cables.HOWEVER, No one has mentioned this little fact. The 3 prong plug that goes into the brick from the wall does NOT fit snugly into the power brick. Infact it is very loose fitting and although it DOES work to provide power, I can see this potentially causing power supply issues in the future (-1 star)I will update in the future if any issues arise because of this or otherwise.

Lenovo 9 Series Finally Gets Enough Power!
Our Lenovo 9-series gaming laptop with the HUGE screen and massive power finally gets the power it wants to play games and not run the battery down at the same time. In fact, I’m right now running a CAD software to stress the discrete GPU at the same time I’m charging it, and there is no problem – battery is going UP for a change instead of depleting.Very nice. Big charger, but then it puts out a lot of watts. Gets a bit warm, as they all do, but nothing scary-hot. Charger looks like a brick, not too exciting as some are, but it’s fine for what it does – it just sits at home with this gargantuan laptop and feeds it tons of juice. LOL. It’s not a travel charger, though I guess it could be. Don’t travel with this big laptop, though. It’s home and work, and mostly just planted at home.Good charger with clean current that plugs in perfectly and charges faster than I’ve ever seen this Lenovo get charged, even while running gaming (equivalent CAD) and consuming a lot of watts. Wonderful! I recommend it.

Great charger for my laptop bag
I needed a 2nd charger for my laptop bag so that I didn’t need to always unplug my primary charger from my desk. This is perfect! It’s slim, and supplies my Legion 7 laptop with all the juice it needs for serious gaming sessions.Cheaper than OEM charger and just as good! Highly recommended!

Fits my Lenovo 5 pefectly
Works as described, fits my Lenovo 5 perfectly and it is charging my computer with no issues. I don’t know what more I can say, as it either was going to work or it wasn’t. 5 stars since it didn’t blow up or burn down my house after plugging it in, I didn’t lick it or taste it, or smell it so can’t speak to that. It is a charger, all I can rate it on is if it plugs into my computer and charges it which is does. I lowered it one start due to being not very snug and getting unplugged easily, not sure if it is the computer or the plug, to be honest. But it dose work.
